The Gaomon PD1560 features a large, bright 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Screen Size/Active Area: 15.6 inches | Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | Type of Pen: Active, rechargeable | Standalone: No The device is compatible with Windows 7, 8, or 10 (32 or 64-bit) as well as Mac OS X versions as far back as 10.10. This makes it less of a drawing tablet and more of a control surface for your design applications. In addition, the Artist12 features a full-height touch bar that can be programmed to execute certain computer instructions (XP-Pen suggests mapping it to the zoom-in/zoom-out capability) and six assignable shortcut buttons. And because the pen is passive, there is no additional gadget that need charging. The passive hexagonal pen (which feels very similar to a pencil) has 8,192 degrees of pressure sensitivity, allowing you to get a hand-drawn effect in your work. This gives the impression of producing art in the actual world. The benefit of having an 11.6-inch display in your drawing tablet is that you don't have to stare at another screen while sketching on a different surface you're drawing directly on the device where your lines and colors show. The touchscreen display, a 1920 x 1080 HD IPS display, may not have the greatest resolution available, but with 72% NTSC Color Gamut accuracy, it focuses on accurately recreating your work.

The XP-Pen Artist12 achieves our highest ranking because to its interoperability, customizability, and reasonable cost. Screen Size/Active Area: 11.6 inches | Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | Pen Type: Passive | Standalone Capability: No
